Both exhibitions allow the visitors to discover the first retrospective of the French Art nouveau and its evolution in Art deco movement through one of its icons, Tamara de Lempicka.

While the Art nouveau see his forms evolving towards an abandonment of the arabesque, returning towards a geometrisation and being transformed little by little into the fact that he was called the Art deco, the representation of the feminine face is going, to know a major evolution.

Paris Haute Couture - Exhibition

For the first time in Paris, the City hall celebrates the Fashion Design. About 100 dresses were chosen among the prestigious collections of the Museum Galliera, drawings, photos are going to allow the Parisian public to skip behing the scenes world famous studios, and to attend the birth of these works, until the parade.

A passion for France. The Marlene and Spencer Hays Collection at the Musee d'Orsay

A pair of American art lovers, passionate about French culture, created, over several decades, an outstanding collection of the 19th century and early 20th century works. Works include the seventh panel of Edouard Vuillard's Public Gardens, the Musée d'Orsay already has five of the nine panels, as well as works by Bonnard, Ranson and Roussel and several of Vuillard's enchanting paintings, decorative panels by Maurice Denis and two Symbolist masterprices by Redon. The 1860s and the Impressionist period are well represented with works by Fantin-Latour, Tissot, Caillebote, Berthe Morisot and Eva Gonzales. Covering a wide spectrum of creative works, the collection ends chronologically with Derain, Matisse and Modigliani.

Sister Act - Musical

20 years after the movie success, the musical Sister Act triumphs in London in 2009 with more than 1 million visitors. The Musical continues the world tour in Milan, Vienna, Hamburg and Broadway with 5 naming in Tony Awards. Coproduced  by Whoopi Golberg and Training course Entertainment (The Lion King, Cabaret, Mama Mia). Sister Act is the event of 2012 in Paris. While the disco diva Dolorès Van Cartier is the witness of a murder, she is placed under a high protection in a convent. She will become a nun and the idol of her colleagues, helping them to find their way by managing with all its energy the choir of the church. But will Dolorès be unmasked?
