Emeraude Hotels was created in 1995 on the initiative of Mr. Daniel Gaultier, a businessman from Brittany. The name of the brand refers to the « Côte d’Emeraude » (litterally « Emerald Coast ») in Brittany, a region which takes its name from the colour of the water at certain times of the year.
The story began with the acquisition of the Louvre Montana Hotel, a 4-star Hotel in the 1er district of Paris. After several years of Hotels acquisitions, construction and renovation, Emeraude Hotels now has 12 independent Hotels, including 10 in the heart of Paris, one on the suburbs of Rennes and one in the seaside village of Larmor-Plage near Lorient.
All rated between 3 and 4 stars, each of our Hotels has its own identity and distinct style while proudly carrying the Emeraude Hotels brand.
